east side of Fairview Ave. ) from
4:30-7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 2nd and from 4:30-6:30 p.m.

MBT’s 2009-2010 season includes:
The Nutcracker (November),Peter Pan (March)
& the Year EndFestival (May).
All students enrolled in the Academy perform at the Year-End Festival, which is held Memorial Day weekend at the Tivoli Theatre in Downers Grove. Students begin preparing for the Festival at the start of the Spring Session. There are no recital fees, costumes, tickets or other costs associated with the program. The Academy does not participate in dance competitions.

Midwest Ballet Theatre is a tax-exempt charitable organization. As such, all donations are welcome. Your donation is tax deductible under Section 501(c) of the Internal Revenue code. You may make your check payable to Midwest Ballet Theatre, and send to: Midwest Ballet Theatre, P.O. Box 508, Downers Grove, IL 60515.
Many corporations have programs in place under which they will match the qualifying donations made by employees. Please check with your employer.

Annual auditions for Midwest Ballet Theatre (MBT), a pre-professional ballet company, are held on the weekend following Labor Day. The audition consists of an advanced ballet class. Dancers should be between 12-18 years of age. Girls must have very strong pointe work.
MBT is a not-for-profit organization with scheduled performance seasons at the Tivoli Theatre in November ("The Nutcracker"), March, and May ("Year-End Festival") every year. There are no performance, membership or costume fee requirements associated with the group. MBT does not participate in dance competitions. Mim Eichmann is the artistic director/choreographer.
After a one year apprenticeship, dancers are eligible to seek scholarships from MBT.
